Pixologic, développeur de Zbrush, annonce la sortie de la version 3.5 de son outil de modélisation 3DPixologic est le développeur d'un outils de modélisation 3D très populaire chez les professionnels nommé
Zbrush. Cet outil permet notamment de "
peindre" directement sur les modèles 3D. On pourra par exemple créer directement des crevasses en 3D grâce au pinceau
de profondeur. Cet outil est très utiles pour créer des modèles
high-poly, composé de nombreux triangles.
Zbrush est donc dès maintenant disponible dans sa
version 3.5 avec de nombreuses nouveautés. La mise à jour de la version Windows se fera gratuitement pour les utilisateurs enregistrés. Voici la liste des améliorations :

- Improved export/import options with the capability to import and export Maya .ma file format with automatic setup of shading network for Texture, Displacement and Normal mapping (This feature is a part of the GoZ system. The full GoZ implementation will be included in the next update )
- Fast local access to ZBrush files with the new LightBox browser (the full version of LightBox will be included in ZBrush 4)
